Does sleeping a 3 hour sleep during the day make my baby sleep less during the night?
My baby boy is 3 months old, and usually has 45 minute sleeps during the day. Lately, his evening nap has turned into 2.5-3 hours. Is this going to affect his nighttime sleep in anyway. He is a breastfed baby.We usually wake up 2-3 times a night.

It is different for each child, he may just be sleeping more because he is growing and need the extra time.
This may for some and not for others. My son just reduced himself to one nap (he is 1 year old) and he still sleeps the same amount at night.
No. All they do is eat, sleep, and S*#t all day.
Waking 2 – 3 times a night is very normal for a 3 month old.
Ok i have a 3 month old son who was born in march…..
He sleeps for 10-12hours solid per night…
He has awake time of about an hour every four hours wich means after feeding he sleeps for about 2 and a half hours every 4 hours..
He will sleep for as much time as he needs..
My son at three months had two day naps and still slept all night
getting up 2-3 times in the night- totally normal, mine was to bed at 7, up at 12 then up at 3 until about 5 months, now he only gets up at 3 and I’m pretty excited about that! I know that breast milk is metabolized faster than formula so physiologically they NEED to eat through the night- not their fault- tiny tummies. Having said that I was given advice by a nurse not to let baby sleep more than 2 hours in the day to avoid day-night confusion. Good luck.
